Soooo embarrassed...

Oh well I did what I said I would never do....rant online about someone who would not have the opportunity to respond in kind...(shamefull)...hopefully the Bloglords will forgive me...

**BLUSH**

But man this guy jas been my stepfather longer than my Dad was my Dad....dark and freaky... and I STILL can't stand it...(fumble fumble...ok where is that shrinks # again???)

Oh well, I guess I just have to GET. OVER. IT....

...We did manage to get out of the house today (thank G*d or it would have been a straight jacket for me...), sort of like trying to get a tin of spam out of the can, but finally we accomplished it... (them out of the house not me into the straight jacket that is..)

We meandered over to a village called Vezelay, famous for it's 9th century Basilica...

Here is some of the detail from the massive doors...Beautiful...

Had a nice lunch at a creperie, Gallete Complete. A buckwheat crepe with melted cheese, prosciutto and a fried egg....man...so yummy...and delicious.
Very Quaint old stone building with massive beams and a traditional fireplace roaring...

My Son was with us and really profited from day with just his Mommy and the G-parents...

Grin and bear it for the my kids sake... right??? **teeth gritting**

I think I should be there to help you out! I'll be on the next plane out.
And I make a mean crepe!

If it makes you feel any better, if I knew that someone would never see it, I'd do a rant on my blog too. It's a good way to vent.
Glad you made it out of the house.
Love the pictures. (And you've made me hungry with the description of your meal.)

At least the food was good, and you didn't have to cook it.... or clean up after....:-)

How many more days?

Glad you got out of the house.

How long are the parents staying? If it's any longer than three days, well ... you know the rule about what happens to relatives and fish.

Yeah it is a great rule... I just want to be one of those super composed, marvelous giving personality types, who is always unflappable, gracious, kind and accepting...
