Observation

I can in person be kinda randy, swear like a truck driver, fart and generally be a little off base not too mention off colour (as any one who knows me well can attest too. (well maybe not the farting thing unless your talking to my old college buddy Barb or my husband...wait I digress)

I am noticing in my posts however that I am no less than proper and the entire list of expletives I was hoping to unleash so far have been utterly absent.

I was really looking forward to swearing online.

It was after all the almost the entire reason I decided to hold court with two blogs as it were as opposed to just one. You know a family friendly blog and then this one (Bwahahahahaha....) the REAL me. It seems I am entirely intimidated to write anything that could be held against me... I have even been sure to cover my tracks so no family reader of Nomad will stumble onto the Navel Gazer!! (cue exasperated sigh!!!)

All I seem to be showing is the artsy fatso (pun intended) side, a little travel, some cooking and a little griping...gag...not quite what I was expecting from myself.

On the other hand I have real-life-buddy-who-I-actually-know-reasonably-well-in-person turned blogger-buddy who previously would almost not say s**t if her mouth was overflowing with it and yet her most colourful (to say the least) of blogging posts constantly have me in stitches...

What's up with that?

Ha Ha Ha LOL **snort**

I know what you mean...I am a little more loose with the language online than I am in real life but sometimes even that takes some courage...'cuz you know I am not the bravest of people in my real life. In fact I am really quite shy. So a blog is good for my inner bitch.

Just who were you talking about anyways?

As you know, I can swear with the best of them, and I have been enjoying this blog quite a bit. Saying fuck simply for the sake of saying fuck is boring. A mix of observation, thought humour and outrage is more interesting to read that constant outpourings of anger or angst.

It's your blog.....
Whatever you need to say....

I agree, it's all in the context...

And it takes a while to find your "blog voice" so just keep at it :-)

Ha! I just WISH I had that problem... I don't have an inner bitch, mine is out and she's been out for a while...I keep asking her to just sit down and shut up but she WON'T...*sheesh*

Yeah Oreneta, you have always been the voice of centred reason...sooo glad you are back in the world of those with wired communications...
missed ya! (and thanks for dropping by!)
