Hi guys...sorry I have not posted, but...

TBG signed the contract for our new home in Germany last week (fr**kin finally)...and so now we have less then 2 weeks to get packed up and get out of here...gawd, I swear it never rains it pours...yeah I know it is not like I shouldn't have expected it ...but still...

So needless to say I am feeling just a little FREAKED OUT!!!

Phew. Glad I got that off my chest.

It is sort of a weird kind of no mans land (Nomad's land??), feeling excited to go to a new place and have a new beginning of sorts but also sad to leave the friends we have made here who some of which I know we will likely not see again... and after so much hard work to get settled and try to fit in (at least a little bit...)...Ya I know it it all comes with the territory...but still a bit sad.

I am trying not to be too stressed which may require a little more alcohol than normal...
The state of affairs can be easily seen by the comment my son made this morning in the car on the way to school...when I asked them to try to be helpful (instead of fighting...or whining...or bashing one another) and was talking about mommy being a little bit stressed out and he interrupted to ask if that was the reason I was yelling alot??

**Sheesh**....why do they have to be so direct (and on the money) all the time anyways...??

I will post some more pics of Spain, but as you can imagine I am up to my ass in last-things-left-to-do-why-do-we-always-wait-til-the-last-minute-for-everything-fr**kin-thing???

Yeah human nature I guess...I am so one of those yeah let's just keep piling it on types...

Mantra...
I will not get stressed...
I will not try pile on anything extra...

Oh yeah...I will not yell at my kids...

*sigh*

Hang in there...it'll all be good, and it is better than waiting endlessly and never knowing what is going to happen. It is amazing how incredibly busy it is...so so so so much to do.

Hugs.

I know how you feel. It is a stressful and bittersweet time. Hang in there! Somehow everyhting that needs to get done gets done.

It must feel good to actually know where you are going though.

Just take a deep breath ... all will be well.

Say, is it true that Germans do nothing but drink beer and eat brats? And are they all wearing those funny hats?
