And now it is Christmas Eve… I almost can’t believe I made it.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse,
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
The candles were lit, the fire was stoked, our bellies are full of delicious tortiere, Grandpa's Mother's old French Canadian recipe, and now the children are tucked snugly into their beds.
Grandma and Grandpa have arrived on Wednesday, and we’ve had a lovely visit. It is wonderful to have him here for all of us... but especially for the children.
We are so lucky !!
Happy holidays everyone, I wish you all much peace and love and happiness!
See you in 2008!!
