I am RIVEN with jealously (I knew I would be...)
The town is gorgeous, the people are friendly and magnanimous, the food is INCREDIBLE and the view is just spectacular…think Spanish Heidi…(no not the porn version…)(!!) and it is perpetually sunny!!!
We had simply a fabulous time. It was so very great to be with Oreneta, we reminisced about the very first afternoon we met, on the bow of a friend’s sailboat and just launched into a delightful (and slightly fast paced) conversation some 17 years ago and became FAST friends still going strong. Funny and ever so delightful how that is no? Like sisters or kindred spirits?
These relationships so nourish our soul's and I think we both appreciated it all the more since we are both a little out of element... what is it about good friends who bring out the best in us?
One of my children’s favorite poems goes something like this
Some people talk and talk and never say a thing,
Other simply smile and the birds begin to sing…
Some how we seem to be able to be different in lots of ways but so very much the same in many others. I truly admire how marvelously articulate Oreneta is, good tempered, good natured, generous…and…well like with good friends the list goes on.

Glad you're back. I'm still weirded out by the whole Nomad-and-Oreneta in the same place thing. I used up all my aspirin last week thinking about it.
OK, now I'm going to put that joke away and will never use it again.
